Quite early for an intact Kluson set, especially for having machine screws in the center of the gears rather than the gears being peened onto the posts, indicates possible pre-war manufacture or very early 1940s. Posts are 7/32” diameter as opposed to standard 1/4", again most unusual for Klusons. KLUSON MFG CHICAGO ILL PAT APPLD FOR stamped on the back of both plates.
