2007 Gibson Songwriter Deluxe

Simply put, Gibson’s best. This is a gorgeous, Gibson Montana-made Dreadnaught with all solid woods and a cutaway body style for all them cool high notes whenever you want ‘em. The back and sides are of perfectly straight-grained solid Indian rosewood and the top is of solid Sitka Spruce. Neck of genuine Honduran mahogany of course, with finest ebony fingerboard and bridge, and Gibson’s most traditional fingerboard inlays, the mother-of-pearl, everybody-loves-‘em double parallelograms, been a Gibson trademark since the 1940s. Gold Grover Rotomatic tuners too, gotta be. This guitar’s tones are big and bright, the action low and crisp, sounds and plays like a dream. The top's center seam has been redone professionally, quite strong, shows a bit. This is an acoustic guitar par excellence, ready to go. The Gibson Songwriter Deluxe Cutaway will regularly bring $2500-3500 on the market but we’re offering this one at a super-low price due to its electronics being a bit, well, wonky. They do work but there’s a slight hum that I just didn’t have the energy to track down. Very available Fishman stuff, so you can have your local tech fix it or replace it for you for well under the price differential and still come out way ahead. Or if you just want a really nice acoustic guitar, don’t need to plug in, here you are at a really bargain price. Either way, you win. Comes with its original Gibson hard shell case. Only $1995 w/ohsc
